Spain has been a constant source of fascination and discovery for me, with its rich history, vibrant culture, and breathtaking landscapes. I have travelled extensively, from the artistic heart of Barcelona and Madrid to the Moorish splendour of Seville, Cordoba, and Granada. The coastal charm of Cadiz, Jerez, and San Sebastian, the artistic heritage of Figueres and Bilbao, and the deep cultural traditions of Santiago de Compostela — where I completed the Camino from Sarria — have all left a lasting impression. Yet, there is still so much more to explore; Salamanca, Oviedo, Gijón, Valladolid, and Burgos are high on my list, along with returning to the places I have loved. Spain's artistic legacy, from El Greco and Picasso to Dalí and Gaudí, continues to captivate me, as does its incredible cuisine, from tapas to fresh seafood, accompanied by exquisite sherry and wine. The country’s blend of history, art, and gastronomy ensures that my passion for Spain will never fade.
