Introduction

I’m a qualified secondary Business teacher, TEFL English teacher, and cultural travel writer. I spend extended time living in places, observing and recording daily life through art, history, food, landscape, and local culture. I am currently writing a novel set in Castille y León, alongside articles for national newspapers and my Substack, where I publish longer-form essays and reflections from the road.

I don’t pass through destinations. I stay long enough to understand them.

I write about what I observe and photograph what I see, using images to support reporting rather than stage it.
