A Cultural Explorer is a curious and open-minded traveller who explores the local heritage and immerses themselves in the art, history, music, cuisine, and customs. For them, travel is about gaining an insight, broadening perspectives, and connecting with the essence of a place.

My passion is Travelling, Museums, Art Galleries, Archaeology, Sites of Historical Interest, Auction Houses and Books.

My name is Sarah, I live in Yorkshire, England, and was born in London. When I have time off, I simply wish to get away to explore anything cultural.

I believe that travel broadens the mind and that an understanding of each other’s cultures helps us to become more accepting and aware. 

We have our differences, including histories, languages, politics, and religions, but we have so much more in common.
As people, we laugh together, and cry together. 

My husband and I have a passion for travel, and every destination we visit is an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the different cultures and histories. 

We enjoy wandering through art galleries, admiring the skill behind the paintings, and finding out more about the artists. 

We like to visit historical sites and archaeological museums, learning more about history and the past.

I also love reading, three books at a time, two non-fiction and one fiction.

There is often a link between the books I read, and travel is often behind my reasoning when I am selecting my next book.
